Golf Course

How did things go when you last played on a golf course? Often we hear golfers profess that a bad day on a golf course is better than a good day at the office. Not many regular golfers would disagree with that well-known sentence.

Regardless of our age, intelligence or sex, each of us has the same goal. It is nice to have a sense of accomplishment when finishing a round of golf. It does not have to be the best round you ever played.

We want to get away from the worries of home and work. On the golf course we have the chance to focus on a little fun and recreation.

During golf tournament play there is competition between the players. For a golfer on a golf course, it is not enough to have a better score than the competition. As golfers work their way through the course, they tend to focus more on their own play than that of the others. It is more important to get the golf swing right.

Golfers are competing against the golf course and not the other players in the contest. It is not until the end of a round of golf that the scores are tallied. Once you have completed a round you can settle your wagers and predict what will happen at the next encounter.

Often it is said the you can measure the true worth of a person while on the golf course. Your honesty and fortitude will be put to the test while you are on a golf course. The way that a golfer will face challenging situations and make difficult decisions shows a lot. People both nearby and further away will notice your manner of play and your conduct.

Depending on the particular golf course on which you choose to play, the golf course conditions such as the cut of the greens, the length of the fairway grass and the condition of the tee boxes can vary. This may not be a matter of concern if you happen to have the same golf swing Tiger has.

Many golfers think that the private golf courses and country clubs have the finest golfing conditions. There are many places where a public golf course will have superior conditions. There are several public golf courses that are better to play than some of the high-priced courses.

It takes much more than a name to establish a good reputation for a well-known golf course. An owner or operator of any golf course has the power to create a positive or negative environment.

Although you do not like the owner, you will not have to encounter that person during your hours of play. From that time on, golfers are alone on the golf course, meandering through the acreage and lost in their own competition.

Continuing to play the same golf course over and over again stunts your improvement. If you want to become a better golfer you will need to play at some other golf courses. By playing other courses you will learn how to face new challenges you do not get on your home course.

I think David Nevogt provides the best golf instruction.
