It has been concluded that tobacco was first discovered in times when taking notes or record keeping was not so much of a big thing. However, scientists have confirmed that it was in North America that the first actual use of tobacco occurred. Since North America is also a place where you can find traces of original tobacco plants, it all makes sense. Regardless of when tobacco was discovered, the important thing is that it was.
